nHanced Permissions

A permission builder that works by exception rather than inclusion

nHanced Permissions (formerly nForcement) is our answer to making the deployment and updating of user permissions more manageable than the standard Dynamics NAV and Dynamics 365 Business Central format.

Many Dynamics NAV and Dynamics 365 Business Central administrators find that the standard security set up, which requires a detailed understanding of table structures, codeunits, forms or page requirements incredibly difficult to use. The reason for this is that once the super-user rights are removed, the administrator is required to state all of the permissions granted to the user. The complexity of this especially when faced with modifications and additions to the solution, is often onerous.

nHanced Permissions allows system administrators to define user groups and permission groups within Dynamics NAV and Dynamics 365 Business Central primarily but not exclusively based on the department menu suites. Once defined, users can easily be assigned a user group and any changes to the permission set or groups managed at the higher level. With the nHanced Permissions module, the administrator need only be concerned with what to take away from the user. For example, 'I don't want them looking at the Financial Ledgers...' With this approach, it's far easier to gradually hone and tighten permissions without causing a loss of user efficiency.

A key focus of nHanced Permissions is to allow users to continue going about their day to jobs without disruption whilst ensuring that they are not given the opportunity to access information or system areas that a business wishes to restrict.
