We have some exciting news to share with you all!

When a small group of friends passionate about Dynamics NAV (now Dynamics 365 Business Central) founded TNP in 2008, our ambition was to create a business that recruited the very best people, that had a focus on customer service, and together we could build something amazing.

Fast forward 13 years, chuck in one recession, one pandemic, two product name changes and a Private Equity investment in 2018 and we’ve done just that. Today TNP employs 290 people, serves 600 customers and continues to grow.

We’ve seen much change in the last 13 years, but boy are we excited for the future. Microsoft are just going from strength to strength, their investment in Azure, Office 365, Dynamics 365 Business Central and the Power Platform is transforming what technology can do to help UK SMBs improve their productivity. We are so glad to be a big part of that story in the UK.

But to deliver on that promise, Microsoft Partners now need to have a much broader range of capabilities. In response, we’ve been investing in skills and the recent launch of The Power People is just one example of how we are embracing the new world to deliver better outcomes for all our customers. We are constantly looking for ways to do more and during that search, we engaged with a company called Node4.

Node4 are a significant UK Managed Services Provider who are motivated by the same challenge we are, to provide the very best and a more complete range of services to its customers. The two companies share a similar strong culture, a passion for what we do and a commitment to delivering exceptional service.

I am delighted to announce that on Tuesday 13th July Node4, backed by Providence Equity Partners, acquired TNP.

Node4’s acquisition of TNP gives us the opportunity to work alongside a community of like-minded people who are passionate (and just a little bit geeky) about technology and the opportunity to offer a fuller, end-to-end solution to organisations like your own.

The transaction means that we will become part of the Node4 Group, with TNP remaining a separate business, doing what we do best and run by the same team. Our brand and our culture have been key to our success so both we, and the team at Node4 want to see that continue. Matt, Dave, Paul, and I aren’t going anywhere. We love this company and are excited to be a part of the next stage of the TNP journey.
