Leicestershire based brewer future-proofs ERP solution integrated with Drink‑IT® from The NAV | 365 People

Everards had been using Dynamics NAV since 2006 and wanted to add features to their existing platform and extend the solution’s capabilities.  The company upgraded to the nAblement Suite, a set of applications created by The NAV | 365 People and certified by Microsoft, which has provided Everards with a modern, robust, and flexible platform that can grow and change with the business.

Steve Tice, IT Manager, from Everards comments: ‘The NAV | 365 People has delivered a modernised platform with the functionality to support our current needs and into the future. The solution we have now is seamlessly blended and immensely intuitive, it delivers a great user experience. We have several developments in the pipeline to provide improved services to our customers and in The NAV | 365 People we have a partner with the expertise and experience to deliver our vision.’

Everards have been able to increase visibility across the organisation and raise data integrity through creating a single repository of information. The NAV | 365 People developed the capability for stand-alone systems used within the business to be connected into Dynamics NAV. One such example is the company’s telesales system, which automatically submits generated sales orders directly in to Dynamics NAV.  Additionally, all customer contact information is managed and stored within Dynamics NAV and serves as the single source of truth for a number of other business systems within the company.

Ian Humphries, Managing & Product Director at The NAV | 365 People comments; ‘The nAblement suite developed by The NAV | 365 People adds amazing features to Dynamics NAV and dramatically extends the solution’s capabilities. Everards are a prime example of a company benefiting from the modular approach of Dynamics NAV and building on it to meet their exact business requirements. The solution is extremely flexible providing assurance that it will be able to support the business well into the future. ’

About Everards

William Everard brewed the first pint of Everards ale in 1849, and stated ‘No effort shall be found wanting in the production and supply of genuine ale of first rate quality’.

Today, over 165 years later, Everards Brewery is very much a family run company with values that echo that of William Everard – providing first-class quality goods and services to our customers.

They firmly believe in combining innovation and modern technology with the best of traditional values and practices throughout the business, whether it’s customer service, brewing, or in their pubs. ‘Tradition with ambition’ as Chairman Richard Everard says.

Looking towards the future, Everards Brewery will stay firmly in the hands of the Everard family. They have long term plans to expand their pub estate and to increase the popularity of their ales; to quote Richard Everard ‘concentrating on developing the business for the next generation.’
