Europe’s leading managed service provider saves time and resources across the enterprise with powerful, customised ERP solution from The NAV | 365 People

Claranet has selected Microsoft Dynamics NAV from The NAV | 365 People providing them with the ideal business platform for dynamic growth.  The solution has reduced overheads through the automation and simplification of labour intensive tasks and streamlined processes increasing efficiencies. During the recent acquisitions of Techgate and LinuxIT new employees were integrated seamlessly into Claranet while the finance team was able to continue to deliver a consistent level of business support to the organisation, thanks to Dynamics NAV and the enhancements developed by The NAV | 365 People.

Having grown rapidly in recent years through a series of acquisitions, Claranet was faced with the challenge of having multiple financial systems inherited from each of the acquisitions. After assessing the various solutions, Claranet selected Microsoft Dynamics NAV as it offered the scale and flexibility they needed.

Alison Steadman, Systems Accountant at Claranet, comments: ‘Dynamics NAV has automated the mundane, and streamlined processes and workflows to simplify the complex. We wanted a solution that could keep pace with growth and Dynamics NAV has delivered. We could not have achieved such positive results without The NAV | 365 People as our go-to technology partner. They were mindful of the sensitivities and complexities of integrating employees following a company restructuring and provided the support needed for a smooth transition.’

The automation of tasks has enabled Claranet to redeploy skilled employees to higher value business activities.  This has been achieved by using nOra, an automated user that is permanently logged into Dynamics NAV and has access to her own email. nOra, an enhancement developed by The NAV |365 People, has taken over several key but labour intensive administrative tasks within the company including the generation of purchase orders, setting up new vendor accounts and the creation of several weekly reports. This has saved considerable amounts of time for the finance department and for users across the organisation.

Ian Humphries, Managing & Product Director at The NAV | 365 People commented; ‘As passionate devotees to Dynamics NAV, we understand the capabilities of the solution. We take the time to understand our customers’ requirements and we have been able to develop enhancements to tailor the solution to their needs. Claranet now has a solution with the flexibility to evolve and deliver the business benefits to match their dynamic growth plans.
